Sources of Information used on this site
     Many books are available at local libraries or through inter-library loans. I was elated when a distant cousin informed me that Mr. E.B Livingston's "Livingstons of Callendar" was in the rare book collection at the Hamilton Public Library. Later, I found G.E. Cokayne's "Complete Peerage" at my old school, McMaster University in Hamilton. 

     Undocumented online family trees as well as some "ancestry" sites can give useful tips and hints on what to look for; but always check in respected references before accepting such information.
